The humble beginnings of an entrepreneur are often the most overlooked. Most people see the image of their lives when they are at the pinnacle of success, but it’s a long road to get there. For most entrepreneurs, the reality of humble beginnings is the driver for their careers, and Brian Condenanza is no exception. From entrepreneur to CTO to angel investor, Brian’s journey shows that a humble start can’t hold him back.
Born in Argentina, Brian moved to the US for college, where he quickly became not only an entrepreneur but an expert on investing. His first project, FluoShoes, became an immense success when he took over their e-commerce and marketing. “By harnessing the potential in social media, I was able to secure a huge audience for the brand,” explains Brian. “This also led to celebrity endorsements which attributed to a significant ROI.”
An avid learner from a young age, Brian was always interested in optimizing technological advancement alongside human ingenuity. “Growing up in Argentina was a completely different life to what I have now,” states Brian. “I always knew there was more to life and finding a way to experience it has been my mission from day one.”
Humble from the start, Brian wasn’t just out for himself. Already a successful CTO at a startup, as the pandemic continues to rage throughout the world, Brian turned to angel investing to change things for the better. “I believe that there is always an opportunity even in the most difficult of times. This is all a part of the human experience,” says Brian. “It’s up to us to promote progress and forward-thinking, and I believe angel investing is the best way to do it.”
A TEDx speaker with over 100,000 views, Brian has revolutionized our thinking behind finance and investing with his unique approach and down to earth demeanor. Brian explains, “I certainly won’t say life is any easier now. It just comes with different challenges. The thing is, these challenges motivate me for the future.” Brian’s approach not only embraces his humble beginnings as a young boy in Argentina, it powers him to create a better world by investing in ideas and ventures poised for a new world.
