How Glenn Vo uses his triangle of genius as his strengths

Glenn Vo is a dentist by trade, but he does not operate the way your other traditional dentists do. The Pasadena, Texas native has worked his way up since he was young. Following the advice given to him by his parents, who immigrated from Saigon, Vietnam, he went through life focusing primarily on his studies so that he could grow up to achieve the American dream. 

Dr. Vo decided to make his studies his main priority and advance his career as much as possible, but he still ran into some issues along the way. Whenever life threw curveballs at Glenn and his four siblings, they turned to their family friend which he was also named after, Mr.Glenn Leon Rogers, who had helped them tremendously to enter and adapt to the new country. Glenn received lots of help over the years to navigate his career, but he recalls that the best advice he had ever received was, “If you find yourself to be fortunate in this life then pay it forward.” This advice changed the plans that Glenn had for the future and because of that advice, one of his most important goals for the future is to provide as many entrepreneurs as possible with the necessary assistance so that they can make an impact on their industry and the people around them. 

Glenn had big plans for his future, but becoming a dentist was not anything he ever envisioned. It was not until he took a position as his sister’s dental assistant that he was convinced to go to dental school. After meeting his wife in dental school, Glenn mentions that together they were able to open their own dental office in 2009, Denton Smiles Dentistry in Denton, Texas. After lots of hard work and help from mentors, they were able to create a seven-figure dental practice. Glenn was able to grow his business by becoming heavily involved in social media. He uses what he calls the triangle of genius which is a person’s strengths, passion and industry needs. By using his social media skills and his passion for connecting with others and entrepreneurship, he has been able to succeed in his industry. Glenn created lots of success through his dental office but he also wanted to create a lasting impact on people, which is why he started Nifty Thrifty Dentists. 
Nifty Thrifty Dentists is a platform made to help dental professionals grow their business in the most efficient way possible. They provide countless podcasts and live video streams for all of the members of their ever-growing community. He has become a social media influencer with over 30k followers on Facebook. He uses his social media following to aid in his goal of helping as many entrepreneurs as he possibly can. Glenn is constantly emphasizing how important your online reputation is for your success as well as your strategy, content, advertising as well as learning and optimizing your audience. Glenn has also spoken at multiple events and has been featured as a guest on many podcasts so that he can influence other people in need of guidance. He also uses Groupology to teach others how to grow within their industry. His most recent and highly anticipated project is his upcoming book, “Industry Influencer”. This book will give readers an in-depth look on how they can grow their brand/business and impact their industry through different resources. He started this project so that he could fulfil his future goal of impacting entrepreneurs across multiple industries, not just the dental industry. Since he received guidance that led to his massive success, he feels obligated to provide the same guidance to anyone who may be misguided in life. His advice to anyone trying to succeed is that you should not lose your motivation just because someone tried to put you down, you have to stay focused and surround yourself with people who support you. That mindset is what got him through the tough times throughout his career.
