Jamal Taleb wanted to change how social interactions among the millennials went around, which is why he created the BondApp.
Trained as an engineer, Jamal Taleb was not new to the social media scene. However, Jamal realized that social media and other apps that helped in interacting with others were not the “right” way to go about interactions. Jamal is one of the few young developers who found a way to beat the “online” connection and bring together people together in the world. Taleb founded the BondApp, a social app, to change how people interacted. He not only found a solution to connecting with others but also fixed the issue of security as well.
Jamal shares that he came up with the idea for BondApp during the pandemic. His inspiration struck him when he saw many people holed up in their homes, and apartments, without any means of meeting or interacting with new people. As travel and work were restricted, it was difficult for people to meet old friends and could not make new ones. So, Jamal came up with BondApp and decided to help people find people near them. He says that he understood the security and safety concerns of users, which is BondApp only allows people to find others within a 200 feet radius. The app uses the identity of the user and the location, which allows the app to provide safety to the users as well. Jamal says that it is a good way to interact, as a user could send a message on the BondApp before making interaction with somebody they like in their area.
Jamal feels that the pandemic brought a lot of traction to his app. He also feels that the coming years would make the app more popular, as it merges both social and online interactions. Taleb also feels that the app could also have potential benefits for those who travel, this app could help them make new friends. Jamal says that the app can be used for personal and professional purposes by the users.
