Sahar Barati is a widely successful entrepreneur who has quickly left her impact on the real estate market. Even in one of the toughest real estate markets ever, she has managed to pull through and create a successful reputation for herself within the industry. The recent real estate crash of 2008 was so severe that it scared away many people who had been considering purchasing a home. The brave entrepreneur, Sahar Barati, was just entering the real estate industry but did not let this discourage her. She has a degree in interior design and has been working as a residential developer and interior decorator for 20 years now in Vancouver, Canada, on behalf of Sahar development International Enterprise Inc, a family-owned business. After some time in the real estate industry, she followed her passion for fashion and started Sahar BMD, her middle eastern-inspired jewelry brand. 

She is not just an agent trying to flip a profit on the real estate market, she has a true passion for homes and everything they embody. Her skills for paying attention to detail and design allows her to perfect every part of a person’s home, from the floor plan to the design aspects. In 2008, her first year of selling properties, the Rookie of the Year award was presented to her  after she became the top-selling agent within her entire metropolitan area, she was awarded a  She has been a member of the Medallion Club for 11 years, this membership is only available to the top 10% of real estate agents in the greater Vancouver area. In addition to that, she was also a 3-year member of the President Club in 2010, 2012, and 2013, this invitation is only extended to the top 1% of real estate agents in the Greater Vancouver Area. In the past 14 years that she has been handling real estate she has accumulated 500 transactions. She also works with World Vision Canada and a Children’s Hospital in Vancouver to provide different types of donations as well as child sponsoring. When she is not busy with the real estate industry she is working on her middle eastern-inspired jewelry brand, Sahar BMD. This decision came after she took a trip around the middle east and was inspired by all the gorgeous designs they put into their clothing and accessories.

Sahar was born in the middle east and has always had a genuine love for her culture which is why she has been working so hard to share it through her jewelry. The brand is just starting out, but she hopes that one day she can use it to make a difference in women suffering from harsh life circumstances and give them a boost of confidence. Sahar is a highly determined entrepreneur who has faced challenges and discouragement many times in her life but never let them stop her. Not even one of the biggest challenges in her career, the real estate market crash in 2008, was able to keep her from following her dreams. She reconsidered her business model and offered people quality service that they couldn’t get anywhere else. Her ultimate goal is to make her brand so popular that everyone around the world will know its name and more women could benefit from it.
