1. What is the guiding premise behind The Fundora Group?
In two words, Innovative and Creative. “Empowerment combined with tangible advice and know-how make all the difference.” states Vance. 2. You’ve secured many lucrative brand deals. What advice would you give to aspiring creators?
“As a creator your objective is to get attention and build a stronger community than other creators around you. Once you have it, it’s to then direct it and control it. When two creators collaborate they’re exposing themself to an entirely different community. Collaborations are based on equal value and exchange; quid pro quo. Brands are no different but those collaborations tend to include compensation because attention isn’t free and that’s why marketing exists, specifically influencer marketing. Focus on building a community and the brand deals will come.”
3. How would you describe your personal brand’s evolution?
“I would describe it as transcending. It’s not evolved but evolving because it continues to be redefined over time as my life goals change. I want to inspire and deliver education to help millions of people reach their personal & business goals. Through lifestyle, luxury and travel content that’s highly engaging and captivating I’m able to drive traffic back to my brand. It’s creative, it’s profitable and it works.”
4. What are you looking forward to in 2021?
“Releasing my book, The Art of the DM,” says Vance. “This book looks at the DM as the modern-day mailbox. This is where pitching, connecting and transactions happen every single day. I’ve made multiple 6 figures on Instagram. My book lays out exactly how to achieve more success, close more deals and grow your name, brand or business by leveraging social media directly in the DMs on every platform.
