Mariana MaLyn Donnelly also known as Thats So Mariana on Instagram, has made her MARK once again but this time in Amber Mark’s much anticipated music video for her new song “Competition” which is directed by Cara Stricker.
The video starts off with a stunning Amber Mark draped in a gorgeous black one piece while holding what appears to be a crystal cube-like box that has a scene from her last music video for “Worth It.” As the video goes on you can see Amber Mark in many different statement pieces like the glowing dress, her hair design with the tan outfit, the flowy yellow dress and many more. Looking like the queen she is, Amber Mark is embraced by her amazing dancers. Towards the end you see Amber Mark turn into her younger self which is played by Mariana. You notice right away that Mariana is sporting the same exact blazer that Amber Mark is wearing in a few of her scenes. “I swear anything you want in this life you can have it.” is what Mariana says which is also a part of Mark’s song. Then it goes into a small scene where Mariana gets to do what she loves, which is dancing, and let us just say she killed it if you haven’t gotten the chance to see the video yet. Finally, at the end of the video you see Mariana playing with a toy car in a table sandbox. A hand reaches out to touch hers, which appears to be Amber Mark’s “mom” speaking German to her after Mariana says “I’m just trying to go deeper.” All in all this video and music video is probably the best music video we’ve seen so far. From the creativity of the music video, to the wardrobe and choreography, to the dancers, and of course the beautiful Amber Mark and her mini self Mariana. With 32k views in just 2 days, we don’t doubt for a bit that this song and video will go viral.
