Reza Lavassani Showcases Certain Out of Box Philosophical expressions Though his Ace Artistic Activities
Reza Lavassani is an incredible painter, sculptor, stage designer and illustrator. An Iranian man born in 1962, has made his artwork create buzz around the art loving countries. With the Lavasani tag attached to his name, he has a special place in his hometown – Tehran. he is exceptional when it comes showcasing his skills, and dexterity before the art loving audience. He has impressed with his artistic activities, giving away some of his powerful philosophical expressions.
Having been a student of the Faculty of Fine Arts in Tehran University, he felt the program he did had little things to do as far as his innovation and creativity is concerned. He didn’t find much strength in the degree he pursued, so he decided to move ahead on this true path of painting. He invested a couple of years also studying subjects like philosophy in general and to be specific mysticism just to get an insight for his artwork. So, with this blend in his work, he then started painting and making sculptures, which brought something really incredible allowing him to get too many places to exhibit his artwork. He was not just confined to his home country – Iran but also got the chance to travel to nations like Italy, France, Turkey, UAE and others. He got the chance to showcase his artwork all across the place, getting more and more fans for the same. This has also helped gain a couple of awards including a couple of awards like UNESCO’s Noma Concourse in 2007 and 1994 and the first prize of Tehran’s 4th Biennial of Sculpture and 6th Biennial of Illustration.
