The Samsung Self-Repair Program is now available for foldable smartphones

The Self-Repair program for Galaxy devices was first introduced by Samsung in the United States last year. With quick part replacement and device repair capabilities, Samsung hopes to increase the lifespan of its products. To further promote a greener method of electric maintenance, it has a recycling feature that allows users to return used parts for appropriate recycling. Earlier this year, the Korean company extended the program to some European nations, South Korea, Brazil, and Mexico. It is now expanding the list of compatible devices to include the company’s foldable smartphones.

TO THE SELF-REPAIR PROGRAM, SAMSUNG ADDS FOLDABLE SMARTPHONES, NEW GALAXY BOOKS, AND MORE

Samsung has now disclosed that the Self-Repair Program will include the newest tablets, PCs, and foldable smartphones in South Korea and other European nations. Naturally, all of this is positive news, but the most innovative aspect of this is the inclusion of the newest Galaxy foldable in the lineup. The Samsung Galaxy Z Flip5 and Z Fold5 are now on the list. The Samsung Galaxy S23 series, Galaxy Tab S9 series, and Galaxy Book 2 Pro will also be included in the program, according to the company.

To prolong the lifespan of their devices, consumers who wish to repair their Samsung electronics can obtain repair kits and original parts. Users of Samsung Galaxy devices can replace different parts with the program. These consist of charging ports, back glass, displays, and much more. Users of the Galaxy Book series will also be able to repair parts such as power keys, displays, and batteries.

By including foldable smartphones, the program gains additional power.

Undoubtedly, the repair program is more valuable now that foldable smartphones are included. Considering their intricate construction and design, foldable smartphones are not unfamiliar. With its inclusion in the program, Samsung is pointing out that even ordinary users (with a few basic skills) can access it and fix these smartphones, demonstrating their efforts to make them easy to fix.
