A24 Puts Movie Props Up for Charity Auction

The proceeds will benefit four charities assisting with Covid-19 Recovery. This news was first reported on Studio 35.

Most of us would love to bring home some key props from our favorite films, and I’m sure we’d all like to do anything we can to assist with the current extreme health crisis in New York City.  However, if you meet both of these criteria and are also extremely wealthy, then there’s a great opportunity for you to do both things as once.  A24 Studios has put a number of props up for auction from recent hit films to benefit the charities FDNY Foundation, Food Bank for New York City, NYC Health + Hospitals, and Queens Community House.  Props included are from recent hits such as Hereditary, Midsommar, Uncut Gems, Eighth Grade, and The Lighthouse.  These are not the usual blink-and-you-miss them pieces of set dec.  For example, the key prop from the lighthouse is…well, the light, as well as the mermaid figurine Robert Pattison can be seen carrying around.  The May Queen dress from Midsommar could be yours if you’ve got an available display case for it, and the jewel-encrusted Furby from Uncut Gems is ready to go, too.  Some pretty impressive requisitions for a good cause, if you’ve got the cash.

We’d love to hear from our readers if you collect movie props.  Feel free to brag about your best finds!
