Adipurush tickets cost 2000 in Delhi and Mumbai; several first-day performances were sold out

When Adipurush debuts, it might well break a few box office records. According to a recent report, tickets are flying off the shelves around the nation.

Even though Adipurush, starring Prabhas and Kriti Sanon, has two days until film opens, tickets are already selling quickly. According to a recent source, many first-day first-shows are selling out completely, with tickets going for as much as $2,000 in major cities like Delhi and Mumbai.

Some theatre seats are selling for 2000 even for first-day performances, according to a Times Now story. 2000 tickets for PVR: Vegas LUXE, Dwarka in Delhi and 1800 tickets for PVR Select City Walk (Gold) are already sold out. Tickets costing as much as $1650 are offered at PVR Gold Logix City Centre in Noida. At PVR Gold Logix City Centre, tickets for The Flash cost 1150, for example. Of course, several less upscale venues also offer tickets for less money, starting at roughly $250.

When the teaser for Adipurush was released in October of last year, the representation of Hindu deities and Lankesh’s buzz cut sparked criticism, including demands for a boycott. Adipurush’s release date was postponed from August 11, 2022, when it was originally scheduled, to January 12, 2023. In a recent interview with PTI, Raut claimed that they used the extra time to enhance the film’s visual effects.
