After Love Story 2050’s box office failure, Harman Baweja describes what transpired during a family “vacation”

Harry Baweja, Harman’s father, introduced him to Bollywood by directing him in Love Story 2050. The movie, in which Priyanka Chopra also starred, was a failure.

With his new online series Scoop, actor Harman Baweja of Love Story 250 fame is back. He no longer resembles Hrithik Roshan, as he did in his earlier years, and he now wears a moustache on the Hansal Mehta programme. He has now admitted that he had no idea that his high-profile debut movie, Love Story 2050, starring Priyanka Chopra, may underperform at the box office. Harman claims that his family and he were left in shock when it finally happened.

The actor recalls the events after Love Story 2050’s underwhelming box office performance in a recent interview with Film Companion surrounding the release of Scoop. “The four of us went on a vacation that wasn’t really a vacation the day after it released,” he remarked. We were seated in separate corners, each of us wondering, “What the f*** just went down? ” He appears to have mentioned taking a vacation with his parents, Harry Baweja, Pammi Baweja, and sister Rowena Baweja.

The plot of the movie involved a journey to Mumbai, a utopian futuristic metropolis, in the year 2050. In the science fiction movie that dealt with the subject of time travel, Priyanka Chopra played the female lead. Many people compared Harman to Hrithik Roshan, further promoting the film. Two days prior to its July 4 release, it had its premiere in London. The movie’s spectacular effects were a hot topic at the time, but neither the critics nor the public were impressed.
