Google Imagen 4, the company’s cutting-edge text-to-image model, is only available on AI Studio and is being released for free.
Google informed customers that the new Imagen 4 model is free for a “limited time” only in a blog post announcing its launch.
Imagen 4 offers notable enhancements and raises the bar for text-to-image generating quality in comparison to the previous model.
Google says it has two new Imagen models.
The first is called “Imagen 4” and is optimized for everyday work; however, the flagship text-to-image model is dubbed “Imagen 4 Ultra.”
“Designed to handle a variety of image generation tasks with notable quality improvements over Imagen 3, especially for text generation.” The cost of Imagen 4 is $0.04 per output image, according to the company.
However, because Imagen 4 Ultra closely adheres to instructions that match your written prompts, it produces better outcomes than its competitors, which is why it costs $0.06 every output image.
The Imagen 4 model is now unavailable to Gemini. In the upcoming weeks, though, it will be available to premium customers.
