Google Store is now emphasizing “Fi Wireless”

“Fi Wireless” is now prominently shown on the Google Store. Alongside Pixel phones, “Fi Wireless” is now being prominently promoted in the US Google Store.

Between “Phones” and “Earbuds,” on the Google Store’s top bar on desktop computers and the hamburger menu on mobile devices, is “Fi Wireless.” It has been a while since the actual “Pixel and Google Fi Wireless make a great pair” page was created.

Get Google-backed industry-leading security and incredibly dependable 5G coverage, along with benefits like seamless connectivity for your Pixel Watch and automated encrypted calls between networked Pixel phones.

In 2021, Google Fi-enabled Android phones began offering end-to-end encryption for calls, accompanied by a lock icon on the call screen. A “unique ringing tone before being connected” is another feature. According to Google, “each device has a private key and a public key, which aren’t saved,” and “audio is encoded, and can only be decoded with a shared secret key.”

All four plans—Unlimited Premium, Unlimited Standard (which debuted in April), Unlimited Essentials, and Flexible—are being promoted by Google. Additionally, the page emphasizes the availability of eSIM to “Switch instantly from home” and the 7-day free trial.

In recent weeks, this has been gradually becoming available to everyone when you log out of your Google Account. It also shows up right after the phones and Pixel Watch in the main “Popular on the Google Store” carousel.
