HTech CEO Madhav Sheth hinted at the Honor Magic 6 India Launch, Indicating that it Might Introduce RSR Porsche Design or Ultimate Edition

The Honor Magic 6 Ultimate Edition or Magic 6 RSR Porsche Design are expected to be released in India soon, according to HTech CEO Madhav Sheth’s teases. These phones, which have a starting price of CNY 6,999 (roughly Rs 81,837) and CNY 9,999 (roughly Rs 1,15,320), respectively, were introduced in China earlier this week. Here are Madhav Sheth’s comments regarding their launch in India.

India debut of the Honor Magic 6 Ultimate Edition and Magic 6 RSR Porsche Design is hinted at

The Honor Magic 6 Ultimate Edition, also known as the Honor Magic 6 RSR Porsche Design, is coming to India, according to hints made by HTech CEO Madhav Sheth on X (formerly Twitter). He uploaded pictures of the two smartphones and requested votes from users on which one they would like to see introduced in the nation.

Whereas the Honor Magic 6 RSR Porsche Design features a hexagonal camera arrangement on the back, the Honor Magic 6 Ultimate features a square camera island. The Porsche Design model has a glass hexagonal camera island, while the Ultimate version has a vegan leather backplate with a vertical line for grip.

Additionally, the Porsche Design version has a new dual-layer OLED Tandem Display, which the manufacturer says can increase the screen’s lifespan by up to 600 percent. The internal components of both phones are largely the same as those of the standard Honor Magic 6 Pro, despite a few differences.

Price and Specifications of the Honor Magic 6 in China

The Honor Magic 6 Ultimate Edition comes in two flavors: 16GB+1TB for CNY 7,699 (roughly Rs 88,793) and 16GB+512GB for CNY 6,999 (about Rs 81,837). Sky Purple and Ink Black are the new colors for it.

In the meantime, Iceberry Pink and Agate Gray color options are available for the Honor Magic 6 RSR Porsche Design, which retails for CNY 9,999 (roughly Rs 1,15,320).

The 6.8-inch full HD+ LTPO OLED display on the Honor Magic 6 Ultimate and Magic 6 RSR Porsche Design has a refresh rate that can range from 1Hz to 120Hz. Both variants have the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC under the hood.

The phones have three cameras on the back, the most powerful of which is a 180MP OIS periscope telephoto camera. A 50MP wide-angle camera and a 50MP ultra-wide-angle camera are part of the setup. Both versions have a 50MP wide-angle camera and a 3D depth sensor on the front.

These models have a 5600mAh battery, which means that they will last a long time on a single charge. Their 80W wired fast charging and 66W wireless fast charging capabilities enable rapid charging technology.
