India’s First Smartphone with a Long-Lasting Eco-Fiber Leather Design is the Vivo Y200e

Vivo has released an official teaser for the Vivo Y200e smartphone model. The gadget will soon be available in India. However, the company has already confirmed one of its standout features—its new Eco-Fiber leather design—ahead of its official release.

Vivo Y200e Leather Back Eco-Fiber

A teaser image was posted by the Chinese tech giant on X, formerly known as Twitter. The Vivo Y200e is the first smartphone in India to have a robust Eco-Fiber leather back panel, the company said in a tweet. This essentially means that the device’s rear will have an imitation leather design to further enhance its upscale appearance. The smartphone with the orange color option of the Eco-Fiber leather is also shown in the teaser.

It is anticipated that this design will only be available on the orange version, though it will also likely come in blue. The new phone is scheduled for release by Vivo on February 22, 2024. Yet last week, the majority of its important specs were made public due to a recent leak. With a 120Hz refresh rate and Ful HD+ resolution, it is anticipated to have a tall 6.7-inch AMOLED display.

The Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 SoC, paired with up to 8GB of RAM, powers the Y200e underneath. This device is reportedly powered by a sizable 5,000mAh battery pack and may support 44W wired fast charging. There is a 16-megapixel selfie camera on the front and a 50-megapixel triple camera setup on the back. We will be covering the launch event later this week, so stay tuned for more details. This is all the information currently have.
