Victoria Carrera, the compassionate founder of Eternal Fit LLC, is known for her transformative work in both fitness and nursing. But beyond helping people reshape their bodies and lives, she has shifted her focus to a far more urgent and heartbreaking crisis—protecting children and teens in New Mexico from trafficking, abuse, and exploitation.
With a heart deeply attuned to the innocence and vulnerability of children, Victoria is raising her voice on behalf of those who cannot speak for themselves. “Children hold a very special place in my heart,” she says. “And I know God definitely does not want babies being thrown in the garbage—or teenagers being sold online like property.”
The statistics are staggering, and the reality is even worse. Across New Mexico, children in foster care and impoverished communities are being preyed upon by predators online and in person. Many disappear without a trace. Others are trafficked across state lines. “This is not just neglect,” Victoria says. “It’s a humanitarian emergency.”
Determined to bring national attention to the issue, Victoria has written a heartfelt plea to President Donald Trump, asking him to champion the “Renewed Hope Act”—a proposed legislative initiative aimed at protecting children from online predators, trafficking, and exploitation. The act would demand transparency, strengthen foster care oversight, and introduce new protections for vulnerable youth.
But Victoria isn’t stopping with advocacy alone. She has also taken action.
She is currently in the process of launching a new organization that will serve as a refuge for children of abuse, neglect, and abandonment. “If anyone has a baby they don’t want or can’t care for,” she says, “they can bring that child to us. I will personally make sure they are taken care of, protected, and given a real chance at life.”
Victoria has already applied for government funding to support the program and is working with community leaders and officials to bring her vision to life. The official name of the project will be revealed soon, but its mission is clear: to restore safety, dignity, and hope to every child it touches.
“Our children aren’t just statistics,” Victoria says. “They are divine creations—made perfectly and beautifully. If we can fight for their smiles, we must also fight for their survival.”
