Mighty Oaks Foundation Has Reduced The Immense Number Of Suicide Rates Among Military Veterans. Let’s See ‘When’ And ‘How’

Over 20 percent of military veterans encounter difficulty leading normal and healthy life after they served their role during the war against Iraq. Either they fall into the trap of entangled flashbacks or they choose to put a permanent full stop to their subsequent civilian life. The number of suicides kept on increasing a few years back when a study revealed that every next 80 minutes, one member of the military personnel kills himself due to the cause of losing faith in their own life.

Jeremy Stalnecker, who is a CEO of Mighty Oaks Foundation, found this as a raw deal against military veterans who put their entire life at stake just to save and devote to the nation. The former infantry platoon commander and now serving his daily life as a senior pastor, Jeremy Stalnecker came to the fore to get a handle on the critical issue and to push for optimistic change in the lives of the military veterans and their family members. He says “these are the ones who serve for the entire country and now it is our responsibility to reciprocate the serving in their favour”.

As per the earlier reports, one-third of the returning service members face mental health and cognitive problems. These conditions among returning service members range from 19.5 percent to 22.8 percent for TBI that is a traumatic brain injury, and up to 24.4 percent for PTSD that is a post-traumatic stress disorder. Suicide and suicidal ideation, or thoughts of suicide, had become an increasing concern for veterans, service members, and their families. Taking these war’s invisible wounds into account, Jeremy and the team of Mighty Oaks have tried their best to change the overall picture of this maltreatment happening with the lives of military veterans.

Mighty Oaks provides the appropriate therapies and addresses the treatment and medication accordingly. The rate of military veterans seeking help has risen in a few several years, plus the results start blooming as the healing takes over. Dozens of families have been saved and recouped, and the only hope that is left for Mighty Oaks is to treat every next veteran with this secluded suffering.
