Nubia Technologies presents its most recent flagship smartphone

Amidst heightened competition from domestic rivals, Chinese smartphone manufacturer Nubia Technology unveiled its newest flagship device, the Z60 Ultra, on Tuesday in an attempt to take a larger share of the mid-range to high-end handset market.

The screen and photography are the two main areas of innovation in smartphones that can result in life-changing experiences, according to Ni Fei, chairman of Nubia Technology.

He also mentioned that the company has invested in under-display camera technology to provide full-screen experiences.

A 6.8-inch active-matrix organic light-emitting diodes, or AMOLED, screen, a 50-megapixel primary camera, a 50-megapixel ultra-wide camera, and a 64-megapixel periscope telephoto camera are among the features of this device, which starts at 3,999 yuan ($560.1).

According to data from international market research firm Canalys, smartphone shipments to China experienced a slight decrease for the second quarter in a row, dropping 5% year over year to 66.7 million units in the third quarter of this year.
