Oppo A60 Debuts Featuring Snapdragon 680 Chip: Price, Specifications, and More

The newest smartphone in the A series, the Oppo A60, was introduced in Vietnam. The company’s newest low-cost gadget is reportedly going to have a 6.67-inch LCD with a refresh rate of 90 Hz.

With up to 256GB of storage and 8GB of RAM, the new Oppo A60 is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 680 chipset. 45W SuperVOOC charging is supported by the device’s 5,000mAh battery.

The 50-megapixel primary camera on the A60 will be accompanied by an 8-megapixel selfie camera for users to take selfies.

The Cost and Availability

According to the information provided, the Oppo A60 will cost VND 5,490,000 in Vietnam, or approximately Rs. 18,060 (8GB RAM + 128GB storage). A different version with 256GB of storage and 8GB of RAM will cost VND 6,490,000, or about Rs. 21,360.

The smartphone will be available in Midnight two colour variants- Purple and Ripple Blue. Those who would like to buy the device in Vietnam could make their purchase via online retailers named Gioi Di Dong and Dien May Xanh.

The company has not yet announced whether it plans to increase device exports or enter the Indian market as of the time of writing.

Oppo A60: Specifications

A 6.67-inch HD+ (720×1,604 pixel) LCD screen with a refresh rate of 90 Hz powers the Oppo A660, which is powered by ColorOS 14.0.1, an Android 14 operating system. With 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM, this dual-SIM smartphone is powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 680 chipset.

The phone features a 50-megapixel primary camera with an f/1.8 aperture and optical image stabilization (OIS) as well as an unidentified 2-megapixel secondary camera with an f/2.4 aperture for taking pictures. Additionally, the front of the device features an 8-megapixel selfie camera along with a punch hole cutout that is positioned in the center.

A-GPS, GPS, a USB Type-C port, Bluetooth 5.0, Wi-Fi, NFC, a 3.5mm audio jack, and 4G LTE (not 5G, which might be a disadvantage at this price point) are among the connectivity features of the device, which also includes up to 256GB of UFFS 2.2 storage.

With a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, a 5,000mAh battery that can be charged at 45W, and a weight of about 186g, this smartphone is quite powerful. A light sensor, proximity sensor, accelerometer, and magnetometer are examples of additional sensors.
