President Draupadi Murmu awards Raveena Tandon and MM Keeravaani the Padma Shri

The Padma Shri Awards were presented to Raveena Tandon and MM Keeravaani in front of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah.

The fourth highest citizen honor, the Padma Shri, was given to actor Raveena Tandon and music composer MM Keeravaani on Wednesday. They are best known for their work on the RRR song Naatu Naatu. President Draupadi Murmu presented it during a glittering event at New Delhi’s Rashtrapati Bhavan.

Amit Shah, the Union Home Minister, and Prime Minister Narendra Modi both attended the prestigious event. The stunning golden saree Raveena was wearing in the photos of her accepting the award has emerged online. For the presentation event, MM Keeravaani donned an all-black ensemble.

Under the moniker MM Kreem, MM Keeravaani has been active in the film business for many years. Tu Mile Dil Khile (Criminal, 1995), Gali Mein Aaj Chand Nikla (Zakhm, 1998), and O Saathiya are a few of his well-known Hindi movies. (Saaya, 2003). He has also written the soundtrack for movies like Paheli, Jism, Iss Raat ki Subah Nahi, Sur, and Jism (2003). Following the triumph of Baahubali and now RRR, he gained even more popularity on the global stage.
