Vaibhavi Upadhyaya, who starred in the movie Sarabhai Vs. Sarabhai, died in a car accident; JD Majethia, Rupali Ganguly, and Deven Bhojani express their condolences

A car tragedy claimed the life of actor Vaibhavi Upadhyaya on Tuesday. She was best known for her role as Rosesh’s love interest in the second season of the hit television sitcom Sarabhai Vs. Sarabhai.

JD Majethia, the TV producer and creator of Sarabhai Vs. Sarabhai, broke the news of Vaibhavi’s passing. “Life is so unpredictable,” he tweeted. Dear buddy Vaibhavi Upadhyay, better known as Jasmine from Sarabhai vs. Sarabhai, passed away. She was a really talented actor. In the north, she had an accident. Tomorrow morning around 11 am, her family will transport her to Mumbai for final rituals. Vaibhavi, RIP.

According to a report in the Times of India, Vaibhavi and her fiancé were travelling in Himachal Pradesh when their car lost control in a sharp turn. After learning about the mishap, the actor’s brother immediately travelled to Himachal Pradesh.

Additionally, Vaibhavi collaborated with Ayush Mehra in the films Chhapaak and Kya Qasoor Hai Amla Ka in addition to the online series Please Find Attached. Her most recent Instagram photo was from a trip she took to the mountains in 2019.
