Waltair Veerayya and Veera Simha Reddy, two Sankranthi releases, both enjoyed a successful weekend at the box office. The movies have raked in respective worldwide box office totals of 60.7 Cr & 50.5 Cr.
Waltair Veerayya is on a roll and outperforming the other releases in every category. The picture will continue to benefit from the festival period for at least another two days, and it is anticipated that by the end of the first week or over the second weekend, it will break even.
After a strong first day, Veera Simha Reddy fell on the second day but improved throughout the weekend. The film’s issue is that there is still plenty of room for it to reach its potential, but that’s not going to happen. For two more days, it will fit the festive season, and after that, everything will depend on how it holds up.
