Vivo X100 Ultra Price Revealed Ahead of May Launch

Particularly after Vivo and Zeiss partnered, the Vivo X series is renowned for its superb cameras. The X100 lineup, which includes the Vivo X100 and X100 Pro that were released in November of last year, is the most recent result of this partnership. Vivo is now prepared to introduce the X100 Ultra as a new member of the X100 family. Additionally, the Vivo X100s and X100s Pro models in the X100s series will be unveiled.

The launch date for these upcoming phones has been officially announced by Vivo. The Vivo X100 Ultra is anticipated to be the company’s finest camera smartphone to date, and the X100s lineup is expected to be equally impressive.

Most of the Vivo X100 Ultra’s specifications have come to light courtesy of a well-known tipster. An official teaser video from Vivo and some leaked photos show what the three smartphones will look like. A different report also discloses the prices of the three smartphones.

One of the Greatest Camera Smartphones Up to Now Is the Vivo X100 Ultra

Given that Vivo has recently produced some of the greatest smartphones with cameras, the X series of smartphones is well-known for its camera performance. The trend will be maintained by the upcoming phones, which should perform exceptionally well in this area. Given that it will be the most powerful and costly model available, the Vivo X100 Ultra will perform the best.

Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset will power the Vivo X100 Ultra. Details about the phone’s camera have also surfaced, indicating a potent setup (via FoneArena). Its flagship feature will be a 200MP Zeiss APO telephoto sensor, the biggest telephoto on a smartphone at 1/1.4-inch. The sensor will have a physical focal length of 22.48mm and an aperture of f/2.67. It can take pictures at a resolution of 12888 x 16320 when using a high-pixel camera mode. With a variable aperture of f/2.67 to f/1.75 and a focal length that spans from 14mm to 85mm, Zeiss has also contributed its expertise to the VARIO APO SONNAR periscope lens.

Vivo has opted to use Sony’s newly released 50MP LYT-900 sensor, which boasts a 1-inch sensor size, as its primary lens. Think of it as an improved Sony IMX989. The Oppo Find X7 Ultra and the Xiaomi 14 Ultra are two recent camera heavyweights that use the same lens. In order to aid with functions like “night portraits,” “high-speed sports,” and “extreme macro,” the Vivo X100 Ultra will also have a CIPA 4.5 level gimbal stabilization.

There Will Also Be a Vivo X100s Series

The Vivo X100 Ultra will be presented alongside the X100s and X100s Pro by the company. These smartphones’ fundamental designs seem to be reminiscent of Vivo’s recent flagships, such as the X100 Ultra.

The specifications for the X100s and X100s Pro are also available to. The recently unveiled MediaTek Dimensity 9300+ SoC will power both smartphones. Its 6.78-inch 8T LTPO OLED panel, which has 1.5K resolution, will be flat on the front. Both phones will receive up to 120W of UFSC-integrated fast charging, though the exact capacity of their batteries is yet unknown.

For those who do not know, UFSC is a brand-new universal charging standard that was created by the China Academy of Information and Communications Technology (CAICT) in collaboration with manufacturers of smartphones, including Oppo, Vivo, Xiaomi, and Huawei. This is a positive step because all Chinese smartphone manufacturers use proprietary charging technologies, making it impossible to take advantage of fast charging when using a charger made by a different OEM.

According to Vivo’s official Weibo account, a new AI effect for the cameras can be used to change the season in portraits, as seen in the pictures below.
