SOME ONE UI 6.1 CAMERA FEATURES FOR OLDER GALAXY PHONES

Yesterday, Samsung made the Galaxy S24 series announcement. The company has added a number of new features with this launch. Some of the more sophisticated camera features found in the new One UI 6.1 are among them.

However, not only Galaxy S24 smartphones will be able to take advantage of One UI 6.1’s new camera features. Samsung recently revealed that a significant portion of them will be available for older devices.

IMPROVED ONE-TAKE MODE

The Galaxy S24 series introduced improved Single Take mode as one of the One UI 6.1 camera features. Users can now select from four different zoom levels prior to shooting a picture. 10x, 5x, 3x, 1x, and ultrawide are among the available options. There were previously no zoom options available for this mode.

Furthermore, One UI 6.1’s Single Take mode can provide more outcomes, including pet recognition. This implies that using this mode will allow you to capture better photos and videos of your dog or cat. It is already included in the Galaxy S24 series, as was previously mentioned. The S23 lineup, S22 family, Z Flip 4 and later, Z Fold 4 and later, and Tab S9 lineup will all get it, though.

ONE UI 6.1 FOR BETTER LONG-EXPOSURE SHOTS

The Samsung Galaxy S24 series now boasts a long-exposure function. Using the editing features of the Gallery app, you can apply a long-exposure edit to an image. Naturally, not every picture in your gallery will be compatible with it. Rather, only photos that have the Motion Photo feature activated can be edited.

The long-exposure feature found in the most recent iPhones is extremely similar to this feature. When you take pictures with Live Photos turned on, the Apple phones’ cameras recommend a long-exposure shot. Naturally, using the Pro mode makes taking long-exposure photos very simple. However, this feature of One UI 6.1 makes it a little simpler.

The Galaxy S24 series has access to the feature. The Single Take mode will also work with the phones that were previously mentioned.

PHOTO FRAMES FROM THE MOTION AND COLORIZATION OF BLACK AND WHITE IMAGES

You can choose your preferred frame from a Motion Photo on the Galaxy S24 devices. The phones then convert that frame to a 12 MP photograph using AI upscaling. Samsung has not formally announced which older models will receive this functionality. This implies that it will be available for any device running One UI 6.1.

One UI 6.1 additionally includes a helpful colorization feature. You can add estimated colors to the black-and-white images after it analyzes them. Samsung has not disclosed which older models will be receiving this functionality.

VIDEO EDITING AND SUPPORT FOR HDR VIDEOS

Samsung has introduced One UI 6.1, which enables users to begin editing videos on Samsung devices using the Studio editing app and complete them in a different app. You can use your tablet or PC, for instance, to finish the edit. Samsung hasn’t revealed which older devices will support the feature, though.

Finally, users of Samsung devices can now view HDR video images on social media applications. The Galaxy Z Flip 5, Z Fold 5, and S23 range are anticipated to get this feature.
