Avika Gor claims that nepotism permeates the South Asian film industry: The phrase “Ek bias create ho chuka hai for Bollywood films”

According to a recent interview with Avika Gor, Bollywood is the only place where nepotism is a hot topic despite being prevalent throughout the South Asian film industry.

As Anandi in the TV series Balika Vadhu, actor Avika Gor gained notoriety as a young performer. Since then, the actor has appeared in other South Asian films and another wildly famous TV series, Sasural Simar Ka. She claimed that nepotism dominates the South Asian film industry in a recent interview.

With the release of Uyyala Jampala (2013), Avika went on to make her Telugu film debut. She then went on to expand her career with roles in films like Lakshmi Raave Maa Intiki, Cinema Choopistha Mava, Thanu Nenu, Ekkadiki Pothavu Chinnavada, and Raju Gari Gadhi 3, to mention a few. In a recent interview, when asked what she thought of Bollywood and South Asian films, Avika brought up the subject of nepotism.

With the horror movie 1920 Horrors Of The Heart, Avika Gor will make her Bollywood debut. On June 23, the movie, which is being helmed by Krishna Bhatt, the daughter of Vikram Bhatt, will open in theatres.
