According to Nawazuddin Siddiqui, the older age of actors should portray romance because the younger generation is ‘useless.
A portion of the internet recently lambasted actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui for his kiss with Avneet Kaur in Tiku Weds Sheru. Many people found the two performers’ significant age differences to be unsettling. Nawazuddin is 28 years older than Avneet.
Nawazuddin even questioned whether anyone else could play love parts if not him and his friends. “Today, everything—including love and breakups—happens on WhatsApp. This is done for a reason. Romance is something that people who have lived it can do. Who else is going to do it?” he posed.
