Meizu 21 Pro’s Release Signals the end of an Era for the Business

The company unveiled the Meizu 21 Pro despite recent reports regarding their standing in the smartphone competition.

Before shifting its focus to another sector of the economy, this is the company’s final smartphone release. Better battery life, a telephoto camera, and an improved display characterize this model over the Meizu 21.

6.79-inch AMOLED screen with 3192 x 1368 resolution is included with the Meizu 21 Pro. Along with having a refresh rate of up to 120 Hz, the panel is an LTPO with a peak brightness of 1,250 nits. Only a 6.55-inch FHD+ display is available on the Meizu 21 in contrast.

The Meizu 21 Pro boasts a 50MP primary camera along with a 10MP telephoto lens that provides 3X optical and 30X digital zoom. For improved autofocus performance, the setup also includes a 13MP ultrawide lens with a depth sensor.

Only this Meizu 21 variant has the primary camera sensors. A 32MP selfie camera is also included on the display screen.

With up to 16GB of RAM and 1TB of storage, this model is powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset. The phone’s battery capacity is 5050mAh, which is marginally more than that of the non-Pro model. Both 80W wired and 50W wireless charging are supported.

Compared to the Meizu 21, which has an IP54 rating, the Meizu 21 Pro has an IP68 rating. There are four available colors: Black, Blue, Green, and White. The phone is now available in China for CNY 5,000 (PHP 39,088.39) and goes on sale on March 2. If this most recent launch from Meizu makes it to the Philippine coast.
