Realme Teases Upcoming Launch of New Smartphone Series in India

Released earlier this week, the Realme 12X 5G is fueled by a MediaTek Dimensity 6100+ SoC. A new smartphone family from Realme is about to be unveiled in India. Withhold its name and release date, the Chinese smartphone manufacturer has hinted at the arrival of a new smartphone series. Later in the month, the new lineup is anticipated to debut. The Realme GT 6 is expected to be unveiled shortly. Allegedly, the device has been observed on various certification portals, such as Geekbench, the US Federal Communications Commission (FCC), and the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS).

Realme India has revealed a new line of smartphones with a video teaser on X (formerly Twitter). As hinted at in the teaser, the new lineup is on the way. The “Power Up” tagline on the video leaves viewers guessing about the title and details of the upcoming series.

Recently, the Realme GT 6—model number RMX3851—was observed on the Geekbench and BIS websites. Additionally, the FCC certified it, indicating that it will probably be released globally. Because of this, there is a lot of conjecture that the Realme GT 6 will soon surface.

The Realme GT 6 is expected to run on a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 SoC with up to 16GB of RAM, according to leaked listings. A 50-megapixel primary camera with an f/1.8 aperture is to be included. It might be powered by a 5,500mAh battery that supports 120W wired fast charging and run Android 14.

The Realme 12X 5G made its debut on Tuesday, April 2, and this is the company’s latest launch announcement. At Rs. 11,999, it is the beginning price.

The 6.72-inch full-HD+ (2,400 x 1,080 pixels) IPS LCD screen on the Realme 12X 5G has a refresh rate of 120 Hz. On a MediaTek Dimensity 6100+ SoC, it operates. It is powered by a 5,000mAh battery and supports 45W wired SuperVOOC charging. It features a 50-megapixel dual rear camera.
