Redmi K80e may Switch to the Note Series; Redmi K80 Series is Expected to Contain only Flagship Models

The Redmi K80 is the successor to the Redmi K70 series, which was introduced in China only last November. Xiaomi appears to be developing the Redmi K80 smartphone and has a new approach, according to a recent leak. For the Redmi K80 series, the Chinese company is allegedly thinking of concentrating only on the flagship models rather than the mid-range models.

Redmi K80 expected to go on sale soon

The Redmi K80’s development is moving along swiftly, according to tipster Smart Pikachu, who posted the information on Weibo. Although Xiaomi is known to release phones in brief launch cycles, the tipster did not provide a launch timeline.

Xiaomi employs a different approach with the Redmi K80 series, the tipster continued. Instead of concentrating on the mid-range models, it will only look at the flagship models this time. Hence, it’s possible that the Redmi K80e model won’t be part of the K80 series.

The Redmi K70e is the more reasonably priced model in the flagship series, which also includes the Redmi K70 and Redmi K70 Pro.

Instead, Xiaomi will add this model to the Note line, so the Redmi Note 14 series may include another phone.

Future Snapdragon CPUs are anticipated to power the Redmi K80 and Redmi K80 Pro. With Qualcomm’s flagship chipset set to launch later this year, this is most likely the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 chipset. There is nothing more that thay know about the Redmi K80 series than these specifics.

The Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset, up to 1TB of storage, Android 14 and support for 120W fast charging are among the features of the Redmi K70 series of phones. Up to 2K OLED displays are also included. Though there are a few minor variations in the chipset, cameras, and battery, overall the specifications of all three phones are similar.
