Roku has announced that its new line of premium TVs will debut in the spring

The hardware business unveiled a new line of high-end televisions today, one year after launching its own variety of TVs under the Roku brand. Additionally, Roku unveiled Roku Smart Picture, an AI-driven function that automatically modifies audio and visual quality.

Compared to the Roku Select and Plus Series TVs, the Roku Pro Series TVs are thinner and have a mount that lies flat against the wall. Mini-LEDs for local dimming and 4K QLED panels are also features of the new TVs. The TVs have audio enhancements for a “wide cinematic sound,” the company continues.

In the spring of this year, Roku will begin offering its new product line to American consumers. The new TVs will cost less than $1,500 and come in three sizes: 55″, 65″, and 75″. This is a little increase from the $999 model.
A new component to the Roku TV program, Roku Smart Picture will also launch in the spring of 2024 with the goal of enhancing the viewing experience. Roku Smart Picture uses artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning, and data from content partners to identify what kind of material is on screen and to optimize the TV settings for the best possible presentation for users. All Roku TV models will have the capability at some point.

The news made today follows Roku’s November quarterly results report, which showed strong revenue increase of 20% year over year. The firm credited this success to the Roku Select and Plus Series TV device sales as well as video advertising and content distribution. In comparison, Roku’s total net revenue for the same period last year was $761 million, down from $912 million this year.
