In Lust Stories 2, Tamannaah Bhatia and Vijay Varma will be paired up for the first time. One of the films in this anthology appears to be an intimate love tale between the two. In a recent promotional video, Tamannaah refers to Vijay’s various notions of love as nothing more than desire. As they sit together holding hands, Vijay asks Tamannaah if their narrative is also not one of love but rather of ‘passion’ as the video comes to a close.

A scene from Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge is shown in the opening of the video, and Vijay says, “Agar sacha pyar hai to wo zarur palat ke dekhegi (she will definitely turn around if there’s true love).” This is passion, not love, Tamannaah snubs his ideas, saying, “Enough.” Vijay challenges her assertions and queries, “What if one falls in love at first sight like Raj, Rahul, and Prem?” It’s desire at first sight, Tamannaah responds once again, “Love takes time.”

It comprises of four short films that were directed by R Balki, Konkona Sen Sharma, Amit Ravindernath Sharma, and Sujoy Ghosh. On June 29, it will be available on Netflix. Ronnie Screwvala (RSVP) and Ashi Dua (Flying Unicorn Entertainment), who supported the first Lust Stories in 2018, are the producers of the latest edition of the anthology. It received an international Emmy nomination.
