The Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC-powered Xiaomi 14 and Xiaomi 14 Pro were introduced in China in October of the previous year. On February 25, Xiaomi will release these flagship smartphones in markets outside of China. The much anticipated Xiaomi 14 Ultra is also anticipated to make its debut at the global launch event, but get to see the phone up close in a real picture before that happens. The Xiaomi 14 Ultra’s rear camera arrangement and design are showcased in the purported live image.
According to tipster Digital Chat Station (translated from Chinese) on Weibo, a purported live image of the Xiaomi 14 Ultra has arrived. Looks like the phone is positioned next to a few other brands’ flagship models. With an off-white color scheme and a circular camera module that mimics the design of the Xiaomi 13 Ultra from the previous year, the image provides a hazy glimpse of the device.
Through a series of hands-on photos, first look at the Xiaomi 14 Ultra early in January. More of a camera island and Leica branding were visible in the earlier leak.
It’s predicted that the Xiaomi 14 Ultra will have four 50-megapixel cameras in its quad camera setup. With an f/1.63 aperture, the primary camera on the camera unit may be Sony’s most recent LYT900 1-inch sensor. An AMOLED screen measuring 6.7 inches and sporting a refresh rate of 120 Hz along with 2K resolution is anticipated.
Similar to the Xiaomi 14 and Xiaomi 14 Pro, the Xiaomi 14 Ultra is anticipated to be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC. An ultrasonic in-display fingerprint scanner for authentication is reportedly included, along with screens that are slightly curved. With support for both 50W wireless charging and 90W wired charging, the phone may be powered by a 5,180mAh battery.
The global release date for the Xiaomi 14 series was recently announced by Xiaomi. Just in front of MWC, on February 25, the phones will be unveiled in Barcelona.
