A Multitalented Haitian Author : Ferrat Destine

Ferrat Destine is the Chairman and the CEO of Impress Service LLC, An entrepreneurial prime mover in New Jersey.

Ferrat Destine lives in New Jersey where he can spend most of his time working to help others live their full potential. During this time he has been engaged in meeting social and cultural organizations helping society in different ways. He has been collecting funds for many different organizations like for Children Cancer Research Fund, Lupus Foundation of America and has donated to support the wildfire in Jackson County Oregon USA.

Ferrat Destine is a disciplined and courageous dreamer and an ultra-careful entrepreneur. Although he lives in New Jersey, he is a Haitian by heart and by birth. He attended the Saint Louis de Gonzague, graduating in the class of 1997. He later went to Grand College L’Humanisme in 2004. After completing his studies in Haiti he wanted to do something more. He moved to the US in the year 2012, and soon he completed his studies in Computer Information System Technology at the Union County College. He has been a great writer since childhood with a particular passion for writing articles and poems. At a very young age, he published his collection of poems by the name of “Sentimental Virus”.

Soon enough Ferrat Destine secured the position of the director of publication for the Printemps Magazine and later to Trihum and Connexion. He collaborated with the Haitian cultural newspaper, Ticket Magazine, and Spotlight in the year 2007. Ferrat designed a series of meetings called “Qui-etes-vous”, which means who are you in French. It is a meeting connecting Haitian students with artists in all music genres.

Ferrat Destine also published the first Haitian photo Novel called “Les Dessous Inavoues” with the support of Sogebank which brought him to the limelight. He was appointed the promoter of Haitian Culture by Prime Minister Marie Laurence Jacelyn Lassegue when he launched his TV series called “Haiti-un Nouveau Regard” which shows the socio-cultural exchange for students of different universities of Haiti. He was named after Jean Ferrat, and unsurprisingly, he is quite famous like him, pursuing a similar quality of writing and poetic knowledge.

He believes that the most important virtues for success are integrity trust and commitment. His books and writings are worth reading especially his super spirited book, “Inspired for Change”.
