Apple Watch Are Now Available In watchOS 11.5 With Two new features

The most recent software update for Apple Watch owners, watchOS 11.5, was just issued by Apple and includes a significant bug repair in addition to two new capabilities. What’s new is this.

WatchOS 11.5 introduces a new watch face

The installation of new watch faces to the Apple Watch is rare. These debuts frequently coincide with the release of significant new operating systems or Apple Watch hardware.

However, a new Pride Harmony watch face is available to customers with watchOS 11.5.

The new face complements the new Pride wallpapers for iOS and iPadOS 18.5 and provides a vibrant, abstract representation of the Pride flag.

One of the few watch faces that can display the seconds hands when the screen is dimmed is Pride Harmony, if you own an Apple Watch Series 10.

An improved always-on display with more frequent updates was introduced in the Apple Watch Series 10. Regretfully, the majority of faces do not support the functionality. However, the adoption of watchOS 11.5 makes it the fifth supported face to date.

In addition to the new look, watchOS 11.5 fixes a troublesome bug and adds one more new feature. According to Apple’s press releases:

  • Purchases made using the Apple TV app on a third-party device can be made with an Apple Watch.
  • Fixes a potential problem that can be preventing your iPhone from notifying you when the watch battery is fully charged.

Given that watchOS 12 will be revealed at WWDC next month, it is not a particularly significant update for Apple Watch users.

According to watchOS 12 reports, the Apple Watch will get new Apple Intelligence functions in addition to minor design adjustments and other enhancements.
