Amitabh updated his previous joke about the bike by posting a picture of himself next to a Mumbai Police vehicle.

Amitabh Bachchan is not at all deterred by the Mumbai Police’s decision to penalise him for failing to wear a helmet while riding pillion on a motorbike. The actor joked that he got a lift from a stranger in a photo that he uploaded, only to later admit that it was from a shoot. Amitabh uploaded a photo of himself on Friday with the caption “Arrested” in which he can be seen standing next to a police van and seems sad.

Amitabh Bachchan posted a photo of himself and a motorbike on Instagram on Sunday with the remark, “Thank you for the trip friend… I don’t know you, yet you complied and got me to my destination quickly and without getting stuck in insurmountable traffic jams. Thank you, owner (sic) of the cap, shorts, and faded T-shirt. He was wearing a casual bottom, a jacket, white sneakers, and sunglasses as he sat on the bike’s back seat.

Amitabh is now in the middle of filming Ribhu Dasgupta’s Section 84. He will also appear in the science fiction film Project K, directed by Nag Ashwin and starring Prabhas and Deepika Padukone.
