Patrick Corsino is a serial entrepreneur, speaker, and investor known for starting multiple successful online business as well as being an early investor in Bitcoin. What do you think about working from home?
I think it can work. Obviously, it will depend on the person but working from home can save you money on renting an office. The key to seeing success working from home is to have a structure for your day and to minimize your distractions. Treat it as if you were at an office, and have the ones around you treat it the same way.
What are your tips for someone looking to increase productivity working from home?
Have a quiet place you can sit down to get your work done. Tell everyone around you that during your working hours you don’t want to be disturbed and to treat it as if you are not home. I find it also helps to plan your day fully in advance the day before, that way you have a structure and know what you have to do at all times of the day to stay on track.
