Om Raut kissing Kriti Sanon, to Dipika Chikhlia’s chagrin. Recently, the two were spotted at the Tirupati shrine.

Veteran actor Dipika Chikhlia has spoken on the controversy that arose after Om Raut was photographed kissing Kriti Sanon good-bye outside the Tirupati temple grounds. The actress Dipika, who made Sita famous, expressed her disappointment at the incident and said that Kriti may not have identified as Sita. In Om Raut’s upcoming film Adipurush, which is based on the epic Ramayana, Kriti will play Janaki.

In response, Dipika Chikhlia said in Hindi to Aajtak.in, “I think this is a significant problem with performers of this generation, since they don’t delve into the character or comprehend its emotions. Ramayana must have been merely a movie to them. Maybe they haven’t made a spiritual connection with it. Today’s generation of actresses includes Kriti. Today, giving someone a hug or a kiss is regarded as a kind gesture. She must not have considered herself to be Sita Ji. It turns into an emotional issue. I have lived the Sita persona, whereas modern actresses only see it as a performance. After the movie or project is finished, people lose interest.

Prabhas, Kriti Sanon, and Saif Ali Khan play the key roles in Adipurush. The publication date is June 16.
