India is Now home to the World’s First Smartphone Running Android 14 Go Edition, the Itel P55T

It was disclosed at the end of the previous month that Itel is getting ready to release three P series smartphones in India. After that, the company only revealed the Itel P55 and Itel P55 Plus as their phones.

Yash (@i_hsay) has informed today that the brand also unveiled the third device on the same day. However, the company is still not promoting this phone, the Itel P55T, online for whatever reason.

Details of the Itel P55T

The iPhone Pro and the Itel P55T are similar. With Android 14 Go Edition, it is the first smartphone in the world.

The gadget has a 6.6-inch punch-hole display in the center. With a refresh rate of 90 Hz and a resolution of 1612 x 720 pixels (HD+), the LCD panel offers 267 PPI.

A T606 chip from Unisoc powers the phone. LPDDR4x RAM and UFS 2.2 storage are connected to the SoC.

The phone appears to have three cameras on the back, but there are actually only two, and only one of them can be used. In reality, it has a ring LED light, an AI sensor, and a 50MP primary sensor. There is an 8MP camera on the front.

The smartphone has dual SIM, Bluetooth 5.0, GNSS, 4G, dual-band WiFi, USB Type-C, and Bluetooth 5.0. A MicroSD card slot, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and a side-mounted fingerprint sensor are also features.

Not to mention, it has a 6,000mAh battery and 18W wired charging support.

India’s Cost of the Itel P55T

In India, the only 4GB + 128GB memory version of the Itel P55T costs ₹8,199, or about $100US. Moonlight Black, Aurora Blue, and Brilliant Gold are the available color options.

The product is exclusively available on Amazon, according to Itel’s official website. In both black and gold, the phone is available for purchase on Flipkart.
