Infinix Note 40 Pro 5G Series Set to Debut in India, Flipkart Reveals Launch Window

To introduce the Infinix Note 40 series of smartphones, Infinix recently threw a global launch event in Malaysia. The XBuds 3 WE, the XWatch 3 WE smartwatch, and the Note 40 series of smartphones were among the many products that the company unveiled. The Note 40 Pro 5G series will soon be available in India, the brand officially announced today.

India’s launch of the Infinix Note 40 Pro 5G series is scheduled for April, as the screenshot above shows, taken from a landing page that has surfaced on Flipkart. Four models—the Note 40, Note 40 Pro, Note 40 Pro 5G, and Note 40 Pro+ 5G—are available in the Note 40 lineup. Only the 5G versions appear to be planned for release in the nation. The 6.78-inch curved-edge AMOLED display on the Infinix Note 40 Pro+ 5G. It has a 120Hz refresh rate, an in-screen fingerprint sensor, and Full HD+ resolution. Along with a 4,600mAh battery, it has 256 GB of storage, 12 GB of RAM, and a Dimensity 7020 chip. The phone is compatible with both 20W MagCharge magnetic wireless charging and 100W wired charging.

The Note 40 Pro+ 5G sports a 32-megapixel front-facing camera in addition to a quad-LED flash and three cameras totaling 108 megapixels (main, with OIS) + 2 megapixels + 2 megapixels. Android 14, which is based on XOS 14, comes preloaded.

Though it is different in some areas, like RAM, wired charging, and battery capacity, the Note 40 Pro 5G has the same specs as the Pro+ version. 8 GB of RAM and a 5,000mAh battery that can be charged at 45 W are included with the device. Two Android OS upgrades and three years of security updates will be provided, the company has confirmed.

In India, both devices ought to cost significantly less than Rs 25,000 (about $300). The earbuds and smartwatch are expected to arrive in the Indian market as well.
