The people of the Balochi community generally have lesser opportunities than an average Pakistani. It is among this tension and crisis, Chiragh Baloch has established himself as a digital entrepreneur whose projects are representing the Balochi community around the world. His impact has transformed and elevated him as a Balochi icon across Balochistan and the world.
Here is an interview we had with Chiragh where he talks about his community, his plans, and his future trajectory.
Q: Why did you start The Chiragh Baloch Show?
In this podcast show, I am showing all the hidden talents, especially from Balochistan. I am featuring actors, directors, YouTubers, artists, musicians, and others. In Balochistan, there are a lot of talents but they have no platform. That is primarily the reason I am hosting this podcast show.
Q: How have you used your success to bring goodness to the world?
I wouldn’t call myself successful by any means yet. I don’t believe you need success to bring goodness into the world. Being a good person means being compassionate and helpful to others. You don’t need money to do that.
Q: Would you like to share about your company Balochhost and VshGap Messenger?

Q: What piece of advice do you wish someone had given you at the start of your career?
This may sound counter-intuitive, but I wish someone had encouraged me to display less grit within my job and more ambition about finding the right job. I was willing to work hard and long in a few jobs that I didn’t like because I thought that was the ‘right thing to do’. What I’ve come to see is that success and fulfillment come much more naturally when you are in the right context. Success always requires hard work and sacrifice and perseverance — but those things are life-giving when you are doing it for something (or someone) you love.
