Released in 2019, “The Dash” is one track that many Kane Bailey fans may have forgotten about, but most definitely deserves a further inspection. This track by the young Ontario native was the song that really began to shape his career.

Kane Bailey used “The Dash” to begin his career by showing off his use of singing abilities. While most rappers only rap, Kane Bailey chose to do both. In this single, he starts his chorus singing, “Late nights in the studio, hope it’s worth it.  I been grinding for my grandma, hope it’s worth it”. With this line Kane Bailey also shows off his writing ability letting his listeners into the story of his life.
