At the NMACC gathering, Law Roach posted on Instagram about his trip to India. Fans questioned whether he had encountered Priyanka Chopra in the comments section.
Last week, Zendaya and Tom Holland travelled to India with celebrity stylist Law Roach to witness the opening of the Nita Mukesh Ambani Cultural Centre (NMACC). He shared a brief video of the evening with Zendaya and provided a glimpse of the centre in a post he made about the occasion on Instagram. A user questioned him on why Priyanka Chopra, who was also present at the gathering, wasn’t introduced to him. Law recently responded to Priyanka’s recent admission of being subjected to body shaming, in which she claimed that she was informed she was not “sample-sized.”
Priyanka Chopra, with whom Law Roach has collaborated for a number of years, was conspicuously absent from the recent Instagram post in which he offered fans a peek inside the star-studded event. Along with her singer-husband Nick Jonas, Priyanka attended the same event. On the second day, she even joined Ranveer Singh for a lively dance number to Gallan Goodiyaan.
Law had referred to the remark as “a little bit hurtful” and went on to explain that it was likely an agent gatekeeping ruse that was used and that it was taken out of context. “I believe that sometimes the problem with them [agents] is that they have an agenda, and I have to play the bad person since I’m in charge of the clothes and the body. I should be the one to remark, “You know,” and I’m not referring to her. I’m just referring to the fact that I should be the one to warn people, “Oh, be careful because, you know, the pictures aren’t as beautiful because you coming across, you know, a little thicker,” or something similar.
