The Roots Foundation, a charitable organization working in Anand district, has done an excellent job of human service through various service works during the Covid-19 lockdown. It has helped people from all walks of life in different ways and through these service works, the organization has gained a leading position not only in Anand but in the entire state of Gujarat.
The founder of Roots Foundation, Mr Tanuj Patel has been honored by Times Gujarat Icon 2020 at the hands of Shri Bhupendrasinh Chudasama Saheb, Hon’ble Minister of Education, Government of Gujarat. On this occasion, the founder Mr. Tanuj Patel said that he is dedicating this award to all the members of his organization and their families and to Late Mr. Rohitbhai Patel(his uncle) who gave him the strength to do this service work and inspired him to serve by working constantly with him shoulder to shoulder at that time
