NBA playoffs 2019: Warriors complete off Clippers

The Golden State Warriors got a major support from Kevin Durant and Draymond Green vanquishing the Los Angeles Clippers 129-110 to finish off their first-round assignment 4-2 and development to the next round. The Dubs face the Houston Rockets straightaway.

Durant set the tone in the first half, dropping 38 points which tied for the second-most points in a half in a playoff game. He shot 12 of 17 from the floor, including four three-pointers, and changed over 10 free throws.

The Clippers fought off elimination last time out with a 129-121 win directly on the Warriors’ turf. Nonetheless, Los Angeles couldn’t make a stand in front of their group.

The 45 points Durant produced on Wednesday were his past career playoff high.

Stephen Curry included 24 points and Green had 16 points, 14 bounce back and 10 assists for his fifth career playoff triple-double. Klay Thompson was constrained to nine points with three fouls. Durant got his fourth foul in the fourth.

Gallinari led the Clippers with 29 points and rookie Shai Gilgeous-Alexander included 22. Lou Williams and Montrezl Harrell, the NBA’s most astounding scoring bench combo, were never a factor.
