People reportedly asked Nora Fatehi if she wanted to be the “next Katrina Kaif”

Nora Fatehi has said that during her initial days in Mumbai, she’d often lock herself in her room and work on her accent. People would frequently ask her, she continued, if she ‘wanted to be the next Katrina Kaif’.

In an interview with BBC Asian, Nora commented, “Any opportunities I’ve had have come at the last minute, but I was ready. I recall sitting locked in my room as I practised my Hindi and watched television. I wouldn’t go out and date or party like the other girls. In my second month in India, I knew that I wanted to soften my body language, her Canadian accent, and Hindi. I was absent for everything, even my brother’s wedding and birthday. Do you want to be the next Katrina Kaif, so many people asked?

Since she began acting in Hindi films, Nora has appeared in unique dance songs in hit films. She contributed to several songs, including Manhari (from Baahubali: The Conclusion), Ittage Recchipodham, and Temper (from Puri Jagannadh’s film). She was also a part of the remade version of Sushmita Sen’s well-known Dilbar song.
