Queen Latifah, Chris Stapleton, and Foo Fighters will join The Rolling Stones at the 2024 Jazz Fest

The Rolling Stones will be joined by country music singer Chris Stapleton, Foo Fighters, Queen Latifah, and Jon Batiste from New Orleans as the festival’s headliners this year. The announcement was made on Thursday by the festival’s organizers.

The two weekends when the event will take place are April 25 and May 5.

This year’s festival also features performances by Anderson, The Killers, and Hozier.Paak & The Free Nationals, Big Freedia, Jeffrey Osborne, Earth, Wind & Fire, Rhiannon Giddens, Fantasia, The Beach Boys, Irma Thomas, Steel Pulse, KEM, Trombone Shorty & Orleans Avenue, and Widespread Panic. The Coral Reefer Band will also be performing in honor of Jimmy Buffett, who passed away in September.

The Rolling Stones will play the festival’s main act on Thursday, May 2, as part of their North American tour, the organizers announced last October. Jazz Fest moved the start of this year’s event forward one day since they’re playing on what would have been the festival’s “Locals Thursday.” April 25 is now the date of the 2024 Locals Thursday. Tickets on that day will cost $50 for citizens of Louisiana.

This year’s Jazz Fest will showcase Colombian music and culture at the Cultural Exchange Pavilion, featuring 17 bands playing champeta, cumbia, salsa, and other regional styles. Additionally, there will be daily parades, food vendors selling local dishes, and artists from Colombia.
