Realme 12X 5G Unveiling Scheduled for April 2: Details Already Revealed

Another smartphone from Realme is about to be released in India. The Realme 12X 5G smartphone is about to be unveiled by the company in India, following the releases of the Realme 12 Pro series, Realme 12 series, and Narzo 70 Pro 5G. The company is currently using terms like “unveil” and “reveal” instead of “launch” on the invites it is sending to the media, which typically indicates that the price reveal will take place later. According to the invitation, this will be a virtual unveiling that is livestreamed on the company’s official website and Realme’s social media channels, Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube.

Many details about the Realme 12X 5G have surfaced ahead of its official unveiling; the majority of these have been verified by Realme.

It is already confirmed that the Realme 12X 5G will feature a 5,000 mAh battery, and will come with support for 45W SuperVOOC charge, which as per the company will be able to fuel up the phone from 0-50 per cent in 30 minutes. This would also mean that the Realme 12X 5G will have the fastest charging support in its price segment. The smartphone is also confirmed to support reverse charging.

Furthermore, Realme has disclosed that the Realme 12X 5G will be the only smartphone in the category to support dual speakers and will come equipped with the “fastest 6nm 5G chipset” and “brightest 120 Hz display” in the market.

The Realme 12X 5G is also expected to include “advanced VC cooling technology,” which marks a first for the entry-level market, per the company. In addition, the smartphone will have the Air Gestures feature, which was first seen on the Realme Narzo 70 Pro 5G, and the Dynamic button.

Since Realme describes the phone as entry-level, it is reasonable to assume that the Realme 12X 5G will be priced similarly to the Realme 11X 5G, which was released in India last year with a starting price of Rs 12,999.

The company appears to be developing versions of its flagship phone for every market since the release of the Realme 12 Pro series. With the exception of the Narzo 70 Pro 5G, the company’s smartphone releases this year have all had remarkably similar design aesthetics. It is impossible for the Realme 12X 5G and the expensive 12 Pro+ 5G to have the same design, but they do share a strikingly similar camera module with a metal spine running through the middle of the phone. The circular triple-camera module and flat design of the Realme 12X 5G are also revealed by the teaser.
