Renders for the New Nothing Phone 2(a) Leak Before its March 5 Release

March 5 is when Nothing plans to introduce the Nothing Phone 2(a), its most affordable smartphone to date, in India. A brand-new color option and a design that differs from earlier leaks have been revealed in new renders of the Nothing Phone 2(a) that have surfaced online as anticipation for the launch grows. Notably, this smartphone is the third one from the company to be released; Carl Pei was the leader behind the releases of the Nothing Phone 1 (1) and the Nothing Phone 2 (a).

As per GSMArena, freshly leaked renders show off the Phone (2a) in gray/black and white color options, continuing Nothing’s custom of providing lighter and darker shades for its devices. The triple Glyph LEDs and dual-camera on the back, which resemble eyes, are the design’s main features. The third Nothing Phone also keeps its transparent back in place. Unlike earlier models such as the Nothing Phone (1) and Nothing Phone (2), wireless charging is conspicuously absent from this model.

Nothing’s dedication to sleek design is upheld by the 2a’s thin bezels, despite the display’s unclear representation in the renders. A subtle visual element is added by the power and volume buttons, which are displayed in contrasting colors on the white version.

Specifically tailored for Nothing’s requirements, MediaTek’s Dimensity 7200 Pro SoC is expected to power the Phone (2a), as confirmed by Nothing. Two variants of the Nothing Phone 2a are also anticipated. According to a Dealabs report, the first one will set you back about Rs 34,000 or €349 and comes with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage are more than what the second version has to offer. At €399, or approximately Rs 39,999, can purchase this one.

In India, Nothing intends to launch the CMF Buds and the CMF Neckband Pro in addition to the smartphone and Phone 2a. Leaks indicate that these products may have cutting-edge features to meet a variety of customer needs, despite the fact that details about them are still scarce.Nothing OS 2.5, which is based on Android 14, might be the software that it runs. With three years of updates after purchase, this easy-to-use system is kept up to date.Nostalgia’s MWC 2024 event may reveal more information about the Phone 2a, including its release date and potential features.
