Roman Shapovalov: A great hustler, who believed he could take over the real estate industry and so he did

“If you train your mind well for success, nothing or nobody can stop you,” believes the 26-year-old real estate investor and entrepreneur.

All those stories that have gone ahead to inspire the world and have helped create many other success stories are about people who have questioned the norms and have pushed the limits to create greater milestones in their chosen industries. Life has its own way to pose struggles in people’s lives, but what people choose amidst such times defines the individuals they are. Roman Shapovalov, a prominent name in the real estate industry of the US today, chose ‘winning’ as an option and since then has never looked back. Growing up like any other kid from the neighbourhood in Belarus, Roman Shapovalov was still different from others, for his ideas, visions and thoughts in life. He dreamt big with his big eyes and went ahead to even taste the success he desired.

Being a part of the deep ocean of entrepreneurship was always in his mind and never lacked the confidence to work towards it. Roman Shapovalov has always been driven by his quest to achieve greatness in his career by becoming an entrepreneur and the real estate industry attracted him the most. However, his journey started when he was only 13 years of age and did an unofficial job of painting houses in South Dakota for earning some bucks. During his school vacations, he even worked at McDonald’s and Service Master cleaning company. By the age of 14, he graduated from high school and was out on the ground to make his career.

As a teenager, Roman Shapovalov became the youngest IT manager and then turned into a top automotive finance manager on the East Coast. He kept working on his dreams and finally took the plunge into full-time entrepreneurship branching off from his car business. In just a few years, this young man has proved what hard work and resilience can do and today owns an Audi R8 which proves the success he has achieved as a 26-year-old investor and entrepreneur.

For him, the key driving force to become an entrepreneur was to be in control of his time and be his own boss. Roman Shapovalov worked in the car business before venturing into real estate. He raised funding for his current venture from the capital he made while in the car business and also took out multiple loans on the first few properties.

The young real estate entrepreneur and investor work 15 hours a day and sometimes less depending upon what the day needs from him, as he also believes that an entrepreneur gets paid on the results he gives and not the amount of time he spends working for those results.
