The LGBTQ artist Mikey See focused on sharing his story through music

There are many sub genres in music nowadays, more than there’s ever been. Mikey See is an up incoming artist within the Rnb/Pop sub-genre. Separated by his unique euphonic tone & emotional subject matters. The “Love My Body” singer is based in LA, but originally from Long Island New York. The 20-year-old pop singer draws a lot of musical influence from legends such as Whitney Houston and Beyoncé. He compares his music to a mixture of Post Malone & SoMo though.

His latest EP features songs like “Starz” & “Where I Belong” which are amongst the fan favorites. Mikey See has kept a steady flow of new music. Working with professional producers and beat makers such as Mantra whose worked on projects for Pitbull, Rihanna, Future & Sean Kingston.

Mikey See is also a LGBTQ activist, and openly gay. He uses his platform to shed light on injustices facing the LGBTQ community. He is very transparent about his emotional struggles in his music, which is one of the reasons Demi Lovato is one of his idols also. “She has gone through literally everything I have, the intense debilitating bullying, drug abuse and just life’s shit. She really has been open about her battle with all her demons”, he said. Mikey See hoes to do the same with his music and help his fans who may face similar problems as him. Through his genuine messages to his fans he has built a core listening base and a large social media following. He hopes to keep elevating and reaching higher heights. His new single “In My Brain” is now streaming on all major platforms.
